AIMSINDIA was recognized for its continuing commitment to social work with the "Gold Star Millenium Award - 2009" by National Integrity Cultural Academy, State Human Rights Vigilance Organizaton, and The Peaks - Magazine. Since 2002, we demonstrated best projects like providing infrastructure facilities to Govt & Govt Aided Schools, enhancing rural education by different methodologies of teaching and creating opportunities for learning & practice, as well as innovative educational & rural women empowering initiatives in Tamil Nadu, South India.
We are honored to be recognized by this Award on 24th October 2009 at German Hall, T.Nagar, Chennai in a function hosted by A.S Media Vision, Chennai. Several dignitaries and entrepreneurs attended the ceremony and blessed the event. Around 40 individuals/NGOs/Firms in different sectors are also awarded recognizing the best works in their own respective fields. The credit of this recognition truly goes to the AIMS US board, who tirelessly take efforts in their busy routine business schedules and find time to run for a change in India, conduct fund raising events, focus on rural & educational developments etc. It is not easy and possible without a true determination and mind-set to turn-around for changing lives on motherland.
We as a TEAM are happy for this recognition and pray to the Almighty to give strength and bless all our efforts taken towards social commitment.
